The Just and the Good is a column on law, politics and global affairs written by William Magnuson. William is a law professor at Texas A&M. Prior to joining Texas A&M, William taught as a Climenko Fellow at Harvard Law School, worked as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, and served as a journalist in the Rome bureau of the Washington Post. He holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, an M.A. from the University of Padua, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Princeton University. He has written for the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Financial Times, Los Angeles Times and Bloomberg.
